Ceramic Tools

The dielectric and hardness properties of ceramic make it ideal for use within safety critical applications where electricity may be present. Its dielectric capabilities allow it to be non-conductive, anti-static and able to hold off extremely large voltages and currents. Its hardness also allows it to be tough but importantly it can be made super sharp and maintain that sharpness for longer periods compared to metallic equivalents.  It is also non metallic so is non-magnetic.

Ceramic Safety Knife – CRKN

The Ceramic knife is made from a non-conductive, non-magnetic plastic polymer and holds a pure ceramic blade the same size as a ‘Stanley’ knife blade.

The knife is rated to be suitable for use up to 1000v.

The knife also has a novel swing blade protector that covers the blade in storage or handling and swings back into the handle when the blade is in use.

Designed to be rugged and hard wearing with a blade that maintains sharpness much longer than a steel equivalent.

This tool is ideal for delicate cutting work where non-conduction is critical to the application.

We supply a range of tweezers that have non-conductive ceramic tips.  Options include straight and curved variants.  Some of the tweezers have replacable tips so can be changed if they become broken without the need to replace the whole tweezer.
